We are looking to hire aPeople Partner (maternity cover). This role will see you partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support key organisation transformation projects, deliver our people plan and cyclical people activities. To succeed in this role, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of people practices and experience of providing commercial and pragmatic HR support.
We are flexible on the location of this role, it can work flexibly from either our Leeds or Cardiff office.
Core responsibilities
1. Support the successful execution of the HR strategy, including leading on transformation initiatives
2. Act as a key point of contact for any employee relations issues that arise; supporting leaders to ensure the appropriate resolution is achieved in a timely manner
3. Ensure our performance and talent management activities are understood, embedded and delivered, to enable our people to successfully deliver against the business’ goals
4. Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the People function and the wider business to develop key people practices and processes
5. Develop capability to ensure our people understand the People model we work within and are able to efficiently access the solutions they need with ease
6. Coach and develop leaders and managers
Skills, experience, etc.
7. CIPD Level 7 qualified/equivalent would be desirable
8. Extensive generalist experience across all core people processes and employee lifecycle
9. Up to date working knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience of case management
10. Understanding of the business and commercial context for the people agenda
11. Ability to analyse people metrics and use data to inform and influence decision-making
12. Ability to coach and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
13. Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts and best practice without jargon
14. Demonstrable experience of managing significant organisational changes
15. Experience of implementing a cloud-based HRIS would be desirable
