ASEL is seeking a proactive and highly organized Property & Facilities Coordinator to support facilities management and building leases across multiple UK locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth in property management, supplier coordination, and compliance oversight. Reporting to the Facilities Director, you will ensure our office spaces are well-maintained, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs.
We are looking for an ambitious individual to join as our Property & Facilities Project Manager, gaining hands-on experience in national-scale operations and development. You will manage facilities and property projects, coordinate lease activities, oversee refurbishments, and vendor relationships, with support for training in contract and property compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Facilities & Property Management:
o Support management of multiple UK office locations.
o Coordinate with landlords, internal teams, and suppliers.
o Maintain lease agreements and property documentation.
2. Project Management:
o Lead facilities projects like refurbishments and relocations.
o Manage project timelines, budgets, and communication.
o Report on project performance and risks.
3. Supplier & Contractor Coordination:
o Ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery.
o Monitor vendor performance and assist procurement.
4. Health & Safety Compliance:
o Support compliance with safety regulations.
o Coordinate risk assessments and emergency procedures.
5. General Administration & Support:
o Maintain property and contractor records.
o Assist with budget monitoring and reporting.
o Use internal systems for workflow and project tracking.
o Support the Facilities Director and internal teams.
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
* Project management skills and ability to organize multiple workstreams.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and independent worker.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and project tools.
* Willing to travel within the UK.
* Basic understanding of facilities management practices.
Desirable Skills
* Project management qualification (e.g., Prince2, APM).
* Experience in facilities, real estate, or property support roles.
* Knowledge of building health & safety regulations.
* Interest in professional development in property or facilities management.
