We are looking for professionals who are confident in delivering the national curriculum and have a clear understanding of the expectations within UK primary education settings. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to develop their practice through a variety of school-based experiences. You will be expected to maintain high teaching standards, demonstrate effective classroom management, and engage pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities of a Primary School Teacher : Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum Provide a well-structured and supportive learning environment Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor and report on pupil progress Foster positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents Contribute to wider school life including staff meetings, planning sessions, and school events Uphold the school's policies, values, and standards, including those relating to safeguarding and behaviour Essential Requirements for a Primary Teacher : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and expectations for primary education Recent classroom-based experience in a UK primary setting Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners Professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous improvement Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through GSL Education Why Choose GSL Education?
