In this role, you will support our scientific project teams with administrative, coordination and scientific tasks. You will primarily work on publications projects, with opportunities to contribute to other medical communication projects.
Responsibilities
* Formatting, consistency and general quality control review of scientific documents (reports, slide sets, manuscripts, abstracts, posters).
* Assist Project Managers with client and healthcare professional communication on multi-component projects.
* Coordinate logistics and provide project support for in‑person and virtual events (congresses, symposiums, advisory boards).
* Day‑to‑day coordination of the project team and monitoring of project timelines.
* Schedule meetings, record minutes and coordinate distribution.
* Assist the team with planning tools to optimise productivity and cross‑collaboration.
* Support accurate referencing of scientific materials and prepare reference packs.
* Screen records for relevance, extract data from publications.
* Liaise with Creative team for figures and visuals.
* Support the development of client proposals and track responses.
* Manage project compliance (training, documentation, client compliance teams).
* Liaise with external suppliers (translation agencies, digital / marketing agencies).
* Take ownership of tasks in the project management system (budgeting, invoicing).
* Assist analysts and writers in translating project methods and results into engaging reports and slide sets.
* Reformat scientific documents for adherence to client requirements and submission guidelines.
* Keep up to date with industry guidelines and internal resources.
* Organise monthly team meetings and internal activities.
Hybrid Working Policy
After probation, you may work from home up to half of your time. During the first six months, you may work from home 1 day per week on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1). Adv. post.
* Attention to detail and flair for accuracy.
* Exceptional written English and effective verbal communication.
* Ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences (healthcare professionals, patients, suppliers, clients, non-scientific colleagues).
* Self‑motivation, enthusiasm for healthcare and learning.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting deadlines.
* Commitment to excellent customer service and collaborative teamwork.
* Integrity, honesty and transparency.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary : £35,000 per annum.
