Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. They are adynamic construction consultancy built on innovation, accountability, and collaboration. This role covers pre-construction through to delivery, with a focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a variety of building and civil engineering projects.
The role:
* Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, valuations, and cost reports in line with RIBA stages.
* Lead procurement, tendering, and contract management (JCT, NEC, frameworks).
* Oversee budgets, cash flow forecasts, and change control to deliver best-value outcomes.
* Advise clients and stakeholders on commercial, contractual, and risk matters.
* Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
What theyre looking for:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (RICS-accredited).
* Chartered (MRICS/MCIOB) or working towards qualification.
* Strong knowledge of procurement routes, construction methods, and industry standards.
* Experience preparing cost plans, valuations, and contract administration.
* Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
* Proficient in digital tools (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Causeway).
