The focus of the role is on internal and external refurbishment to a decent homes standard, including installing and maintaining kitchens and bathrooms, windows, doors etc During your apprenticeship, you will: Achieve a Level 2 Carpentry/Joinery qualification Develop into a qualified carpenter specialising on decent homes standards What You’ll Learn Work Methods : Safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment Products & Installation : Fitting fire doors, fire stopping, and protective systems Preparation : Removing and preparing areas before installation Technology: Learning how to use our Oneserve software to record and track completed works Health & Safety : Understanding workplace safety standards Teamwork : Collaborating effectively in small teams Communication : Building strong relationships with colleagues and customers What We’re Looking For We’re looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop in a hands-on role. Ideally, you will have: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4–9 / A*–C), although this is not essential More importantly, you will: Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude Be willing to learn and take on new challenges Enjoy practical, physical work Be a reliable team player Please note: This apprenticeship is not suitable for candidates who already hold (or are studying towards) a Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or Joinery. A DBS check will also be required to be taken.
