SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Levenshulme – September 2025 Start – £89.38 to £100 per day

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September 2025. This is a full-time position for the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
* Assist in implementing personalised learning strategies and EHCP targets
* Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil progress and well-being
* Help create an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment for all students
* Promote independence, emotional regulation, and confidence in students with complex needs
* Location: Levenshulme, South Manchester
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: Full academic year (potential for permanent placement)
* Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (based on experience)
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
