The Sport Medicine team is dedicated to supporting the optimal performance of healthy athletes on their journey to the podium. Collaborating closely with athletes and a comprehensive support network, the primary focus is on proactively preventing illnesses and injuries. This involves delivering evidence-based medical care through accurate diagnosis, thorough clinical examination, and drawing upon extensive experience and knowledge to uphold the well-being of athletes.

As an integral part of the broader support structure, Sports and Exercise Medicine doctors offer expert clinical guidance, reassurance, and sound judgment, complementing the multi-disciplinary approach to performance sport.

The Sport Medicine team extends its influence beyond the competitive realm by drawing lessons from the performance world that have universal applications for athletes of all abilities. Engaging in areas such as Moving Medicine, sports concussion education and management, female athlete health and mental health awareness, the team seeks to contribute to the collective improvement of individuals' well-being and the promotion of a healthier life for all.
