Accounts/payroll administrator
We are looking for a part-time accounts/payroll administrator to join our busy team supporting accounts staff in our Whitstable office.
The successful person will have good knowledge of sage payroll administration experience within a multi-site organisation and a strong working knowledge of processes being able to work to deadlines, manage priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent knowledge of sage accounts, along with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and good excel capabilities.
Key duties
* maintain on-line staff training is kept up to date
* processing of small weekly payrolls
* upkeep of small company rental ledger and credit control
* matching, checking and coding of purchase invoices
* processing month end supplier payments via Bacs and faster payment
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Scanning/checking supplier invoices
* Excellent communication skills with suppliers
* Dealing with ad hoc queries
* Input sales/wages journals
* Would be required to cover staff sickness and holiday
* Ability to work on own initiative with a can-do attitude
* and undertake other duties.
Experience
* Sage payroll 3-4 yrs (required)
* Good knowledge of sage accounts
* Verbal/written communication
* Attention to detail/accuracy
* Basic administration skills
