Job Title: Internal Sales Representative

Location: Onsite, Rochdale
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Weir Minerals Europe’s Sales Operations Team are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Representative to join their office Internal Sales Team reporting to the Regional lead. The successful candidate will provide a proactive service to external customers ensuring all inquiries and orders are promptly and satisfactory dealt with.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Compliance to WME standard operating procedures and WM Pricing Policy
2. Handling customer requests in a professionally and timely manner
3. Accurate maintenance of Salesforce opportunities
4. Processing quotations and orders within 24 hours
5. Follow up quotations
6. Clean order entry and handover to Supply Chain
7. Efficient and accurate processing of order amendments
8. Strong orderbook management to support on time delivery, including date and block management
9. Issuing regular orderbook updates to our key accounts
10. Work alongside the Supply Chain team to ensure customers receive pro-active progress updates
11. Improve customer relationships
12. Track critical customer orders and orderbooks with support from Supply Chain
13. Work in partnership with other WME Departments to deliver excellent customer service and determine solutions to delight our customers
14. Make sure customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner – CMR /DMR processing
15. Support continuous development and improvement of processes
16. Support adoption of new process, guide and teach your colleagues
17. Support system driven processes and global standardisation
18. Improve the quality of our Customer Master Data
19. Debtor management
20. Proforma invoice / DPR – billing plans
21. Support in quotes & orders service
22. Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
23. Setting the right priorities and being able to adjust when needed
24. Comfortable working in a challenging environment
25. Experience within a customer focused sales role is essential
26. Dynamic approach with good communication skills (written and verbal)
27. Commercially minded, supporting profitability
28. Computer literacy – working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (i.e. SAP, Salesforce)
29. Team player yet self-motivated
30. Ability to work on own initiative and focus to accuracy
31. Contribute to a positive working environment

32. Competitive Salary
33. 37 hour work week
