The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS Unscheduled Team. The team focuses on assessment and intervention for young people presenting in crisis across Lanarkshire. You will provide a high quality mental health service to children and young people and their families within the CAMHS Nursing Outreach Team. This includes working within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the department’s policies and procedures including the assessment of young people and their families referred to the Service and Co working with other members of the multidisciplinary Locality CAMHS team or under the direction of Team Leader or Charge Nurse in the provision of assessment and therapeutic interventions to these young people and their families utilising a range of therapeutic modalities as required. Physical observations as required. The post holder will be supported to work with the full range of presenting difficulties referred to the team.
