Smile Education is partnering with an exceptional school in Solihull, and they are welcoming a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to their team on a maternity cover basis from February 2026, or sooner for the right candidate. If you’re enthusiastic about inspiring young minds through the study of psychology, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Psychology Teacher, you will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons at KS5, aligned with the national curriculum and exam board specifications. Your role will involve fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, discussion, and student engagement. You may also be asked to provide occasional general cover when required, helping to maintain continuity of learning across the school.
You’ll be joining a supportive, energetic, and collaborative team that is committed to professional development and to making a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject) and QTS or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge of KS5 Psychology and the ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
