We are recruiting for a Learning & Development Senior Product Portfolio Manager to join our Product and Standards team in a permanent, full-time capacity.
About the role
The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with the senior leadership team to design, develop, and expand Learning and Development offerings with a differentiated product portfolio.
The role involves managing a market-leading portfolio, exploring new product opportunities aligned with current trends and market demands, and generating innovative ideas and strategies for profitable product lines with high ROI.
You will work in a customer-centric environment alongside product managers, instructional designers, assessment specialists, and marketing professionals, maintaining a proactive attitude and continuously seeking improvements. Your persuasive skills and creative insights will help penetrate and expand the market for these products.
Key responsibilities:
* Define the product vision and strategy from launch to scaling.
* Conduct regular research to understand current and emerging markets.
* Understand policies and regulations affecting our development and delivery.
* Determine market demands, create product specifications, and set long-term goals.
* Build strategic partnerships with employers and stakeholders to foster growth.
* Maintain effective interactions with the market, clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Communicate product features clearly across teams.
* Participate actively in the product development lifecycle.
* Manage the product lifecycle from planning through development, addressing issues as they arise.
* Coordinate with the development team to ensure resource availability.
* Work with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable, requirement-compliant products.
* Oversee the creation of go-to-market materials and training.
* Develop promotional strategies with marketing to highlight core features and boost engagement.
* Represent BCS Learning and Development solutions publicly.
* Establish credibility within customer and partner networks.
* Ensure compliance with government, regulatory, client, and quality policies.
* Adapt responsibilities as needed, with flexibility required.
* Review and update content and reporting lines periodically to meet organizational needs.
* Uphold BCS values and support organizational purpose.
* Continuously seek improvements in systems, processes, and procedures.
