Do you want to work for a leading poultry processing manufacturer, part of a multi:national UK group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to growth within the engineering team, they are looking for a days based shift engineer.
Role and responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:
* Carrying out PPM, reactive and predictive maintenance/breakdown analysis
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and PPMs
* Working on various high:speed food production lines, processing and packaging machinery
* Site services and facilities maintenance
* Support project work and continuous improvement activities
* PLC and control panels : electrical fault finding and repairs
Knowledge, skills and experience needed to be a maintenance engineer:
* Must be a multi:skilled engineer : electrically biased
* NVQ / City and Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering
* Be a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skills
* Able to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficiently
* Both electrical and mechanical fault:finding capabilities
* Need to be comfortable working in poultry processing and production facility
* Ideally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast:paced manufacturing
