This service opened Summer 2024 and consists of 6 individual flats with communal spaces. The service supports 6 females requiring a wide range of support from emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and being able to express their true selves.
Responsibilities
* Provide emotional support and facilitate learning of new coping mechanisms for residents.
* Support residents in expressing their true selves and navigating complex behaviours.
* Apply Positive Behaviour Support principles in daily care activities.
* Assist in household and communal tasks to support independent living.
Qualifications & Skills
* Passion for working with individuals with enduring mental health challenges.
* Keenness to understand the psychology behind complex behaviours.
* Willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support.
* Experience or training in adult complex care, mental health, autism or learning disability is a plus.
