Job Description:
The Regional Purchaser and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing purchasing activities and inventory management across multiple locations within a designated region. This includes strategic planning, supplier negotiation, inventory control, and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and inventory management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate teams across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, evaluate suppliers, and maintain supplier relationships.
* Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, implement control procedures, conduct audits, and analyze data for demand forecasting.
* Regional Coordination: Coordinate procurement and inventory activities across locations, ensure process standardization, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably regionally or multi-locational.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift and move inventory items.
* Ability to travel within the region as needed.
