Your newpanyAn SME Contractor based in Lincolnshire is currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join their operational team.This well-establishedpany operates across the UK and with the overwhelming growth and demand in the market, thepany plan to deliver a wide range of projects in order to expand and build on their already prestigious project portfolio. With impressive builds and refurbishments across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, public sector, leisure, residential, hospitality, this contractor now has a requirement for a skilled and experienced Project / Site Manager to join their growing construction team and be responsible for managing their uing projects.Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction process from inception topletion, ensuring the works are delivered on budget and to a high standard, whilst working with internal and external stakeholders and contractor teams.Projects you can expect to be involved in include large-scalemercial schemes such as sheds, warehouses,mercial buildings and MOD work.Responsibilities include -
1. Construction Project Management of single projects.
2. Ensure all projects are planned and implemented effectively.
3. Manage and appoint contractor teams.
4. Schedule and manage work programmes with contractor teams.
5. Attend various site visits including pre-start construction meetings and snagging.
6. Ensure a high standard of Health & Safety is adhered to.
7. Liaise with external third parties including existing landlords, surveyors, design consultants and legal teams.
8. Liaise andmunicate with internal and external stakeholders, whilst providing regular reporting on progress.
What you'll need to succeedA successful Project Manager will have previous experience of working onmercial projects valued up to £5m. You will possess a high level ofmunication and organisation, along with an eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards both on and off-site. You will be required to work to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality, health & safety. You will direct the project and site team accordingly as per client expectations. You must be technically proficient and IT literate. You must have a flexible attitude to travel in order to deliver the project effectively.
9. Experience in Construction Project Management.
10. A proven track record of delivering multiple construction related projects of a similar size and value (£10k - £5m).
11. Experience of dealing with building contractors.
12. Excellent levels ofmunication and initiative.
