Job Overview
Position: Human Resources Support Officer in People Services. This role supports divisional and departmental managers with staff management and HR functions in line with Force Policy and best practice.
Responsibilities
* Support divisional/departmental managers in effective staff management, ensuring people‑related issues are handled in line with Force Policy and best practice.
* Develop and update Human Resources document management systems to ensure information can be accessed by colleagues as appropriate.
* Provide support to line managers dealing with people‑related issues, including attendance and performance, misconduct (police staff), fairness at work, organisational change, and recruitment and selection.
