The opportunity: An incredible opportunity has arisen to join the Sir Richard Sutton Ltd team as Marketing Manager and make a significant contribution to the hotel, farming, and property business pillars. Your primary role will be to support the marketing of four UK hotels, with opportunities to diversify into other areas of the business.

About the role:
We are seeking a passionate marketing manager to enhance brand awareness and position Sutton Hotel Collection and our four hotels (The Francis Hotel in Bath, The Castle Hotel in Windsor, The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences, and The Queens Hotel in Cheltenham). You will develop and promote the brand, drive sales through creative campaigns, website development, and collaboration with the team and external marketing partners.
You will work closely with the commercial team, general managers, and hotel staff to support local marketing needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Owning and executing campaign activity plans across MICE and leisure segments.
2. Aligning all hotel marketing efforts with the overall business strategy and brand positioning.
3. Overseeing website development projects, ensuring timely delivery and content updates.
4. Developing and implementing tactical campaign calendars for leisure and MICE markets.
5. Seeking partnership opportunities to expand brand reach.
6. Managing key consumer partnerships such as Pride of Britain, Condé Nast, and Britain’s Finest.
7. Applying data-driven marketing techniques, guest profiling, and segmentation for targeted campaigns.
8. Contributing to social media strategies to reach the right audiences.
9. Managing LinkedIn profiles for MICE and business communication.
10. Collaborating with sales to create compelling sales tools and campaigns targeting MICE, corporate, and leisure markets.
11. Representing the brand at trade shows and updating third-party websites like Cvent, VenueDirectory, and Ensemble.
12. Measuring activity impact against KPIs to assess brand perception, audience engagement, and revenue growth.
Candidate profile:
* Minimum three years of hospitality marketing experience, currently a marketing manager within a hospitality group, conference venue, or leisure organization.
* Strong understanding of the hotel and restaurant sector and alignment with brand values.
* Experience in integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative ideas.
* Kind-hearted, team-oriented, and community-focused.
* Confident communicator with attention to detail and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
* Brand-aligned, inquisitive about trends, and adaptable to industry changes.
* Results-driven with experience working with hotel systems such as PMS, event systems, CMS, CRM, and content platforms.
* Organized, capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence at hotels at least two to three days per week, ideally based in London, Bristol, or along the M4 corridor.
