Overview
Experienced English Teacher or Early Careers Teacher (ECT) required to join a 'Good' secondary school in the borough of Redbridge on a permanent full‑time contract starting September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and conduct lessons across key stages, setting suitable learning objectives.
* Maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
* Manage behaviour and apply the school's behaviour management procedures.
* Engage students using diverse teaching methods and support them with extracurricular activities.
* Participate in the highly supportive induction programme for newly qualified teachers.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience as an English Teacher or an Early Careers Teacher completing a PGCE/SCITT course.
* Understanding of the MPS/UPS3 Outer London Pay Scale. TLR possible for the right candidate.
* Ability to work within a high‑achieving, well‑resourced English Department.
