A well-established manufacturer is seeking a Goods In operative to join their team. As a Goods in Operator you will be inspecting all deliveries, booking in and processing deliveries and managing the stock.
Goods In Operator responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate stock levels through rolling stocktakes and system adjustments.
* Ensure prompt racking of received goods.
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
* Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries from suppliers.
* Check delivery quantities against paperwork and confirm specifications using measuring equipment.
* Book deliveries into the electronic system and generate identification labels as required.
* Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
* Operate forklift trucks and hand pallet trucks for material movement.
* Provide support to Stores, Production, and other team members as needed.
