The Leicester School of Pharmacy has three UG programmes, including the highly regarded MPharm. Teaching reflects the latest developments in the sector, and many courses have professional accreditations. Recent graduates have secured roles with leading employers such as NHS, Boots, Sanofi, Ministry of Defence and the NHS.The roleYou will join an enthusiastic team working in modern teaching and research facilities. This is an on-site, campus-based position in Leicester, UK. You will be expected to make a full contribution to undergraduate teaching and will be involved in embedding prescribing skills within the new curriculum. You may also be asked to support post-graduate teaching in the Leicester School of Pharmacy.The Leicester School of Pharmacy has successful GPhC reaccreditation against the new initial education and training standards and invites applications from highly motivated individuals to teach in pharmacy practice and provide academic leadership to drive this programme forward.Ideal Candidate You will be a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and bring extensive, up-to-date patient-facing clinical experience to the role. Your recent practice will enable you to share real-world insights and help prepare the next generation of pharmacists for the evolving healthcare landscape.While experience in teaching within Higher Education is desirable, it is not essential—we welcome applicants who are passionate about education and willing to develop their teaching skills.
