The Role
We are seeking a friendly, proactive and organised Customer Service Advisor to join our team.
You will be the first point of contact for our trade and retail customers, helping them with enquiries, orders, product specifications, after-sales support and ensuring a top-class customer experience.
We are looking to move quickly with this recruitment and would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online (portal) in a timely, professional manner
* Supporting trade and retail customers with information about door styles, colour options, glazing, hardware, lead times, pricing, etc.
* Processing orders accurately and inputting customer requirements correctly
* Tracking order progress & liaising with production, logistics, and installation teams to ensure on-time delivery
* Resolving customer issues and complaints, escalating where necessary, to maintain customer satisfaction
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product ranges, specifications, and company policies
Essential Skills & Experience
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Strong customer-service orientation with patience, empathy and a problem-solving mindset
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a busy environment
* Basic IT skills (email, CRM / order management systems, MS Office)
* Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus (ideally within manufacturing, trade, or retail sectors)
Desirable
* Knowledge of composite doors / construction / glazing etc.
* Experience working with trade customers / B2B enquiries
* Familiarity with online ordering portals or trade-ordering systems
