Senior Manufacturing Engineer (SC Cleared)Bedfordshire | £55,000Permanent | 37.5 hrs | 4-day week (MonThu) A leading defence engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI, prototype build, and full-rate production across high-profile programmes.Key focus areas:
* Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement
* NPI from concept to production release
* CNC manufacturing (5-axis) & process optimisation
* Workshop, production line & facility setup
* Manufacturing BOMs, routings & BoEs
* Tooling, fixturing & capital equipment planning
Requirements:
* Strong manufacturing engineering background in regulated environments
* Proven Lean & NPI experience
* 5-axis CNC knowledge (HyperMill preferred)
* ERP/MRP experience (SAP or similar)
* SC Cleared
