PLC Software Engineer Rockwell PLCs FactoryTalk / Studio 5000 £50-62k Hybrid Working Samuel Frank is recruiting for a PLC Software Engineer with Rockwell PLC experience to join a well-established, growing engineering business. The role is predominantly office-based with very limited site work and would suit a PLC Software Engineer who enjoys structured, collaborative development rather than constant travel. Key aspects of the PLC Software Engineer role include PLC Software Engineer will focus on Rockwell PLCs using Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View PLC Software Engineer will typically work with ladder logic, with some structured text where required PLC Software Engineer will often modify code, interrogate existing programs, tweak and enhance systems rather than always starting from scratch Very limited site work, most of the work is done in-house in a controlled environment Strong emphasis on collaborative working shared standards, consistent code structure and reusable libraries across the team PLC Software Engineer will contribute to developing libraries and frameworks that all engineers can use effectively Fast-paced environment with multiple projects running in parallel Involvement across full project lifecycle including design, development, testing and FAT Process control environments such as water treatment, chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, nuclear or oil & gas Any background where systems need to be robust, reliable and compliant Hybrid / flexible working Strong focus on training and continuous development Regular team building events, team lunches and social culture Supportive, collaborative engineering team with clear progression routes This is a strong opportunity for a PLC Software Engineer who wants to develop high-quality, structured PLC software in a team environment without the constant requirement to be on site.
