R.E. is a Core Subject and every student sits GCSE R.E. The RE Team is made up of 9 dedicated colleagues, with a range of experience. Students study the Eduqas Religious Education GCSE course and the Eduqas Religious Studies A Level qualification at Post-16. The R.E. outcomes are outstanding. At GCSE more than half of students achieved a Grade 6, with a third of students achieving 7. St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas judged as Outstanding.
