THE ROLE
As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will assist in leading the Restaurant, Bar and In-Room Dining Service F&B Team to execute the daily breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner services in our restaurant. The Restaurant Supervisor is expected to lead by example while engaging with associates and guests before, during, and after services. The Restaurant Supervisor reports directly to the Restaurant General Manager. It is critical that the person in this position is both tactical and strategic. All leaders at Aparium are required to actively identify needs and personally ensure improvements. We are a young, rapidly growing company, so adaptability and hands-on involvement are essential.
A large degree of self-motivation is needed to drive the department, collaborating with the Culinary Team to execute your restaurant concept at a high level. As a leader within Aparium Hotel Group, you will work with a talented, collaborative, humble, and experienced team. The Restaurant Supervisor will maintain and execute the Standards of Service, ensuring a successful member and guest experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and high-quality guest experience
* Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
* Uphold and enforce service standards, policies, and procedures
* Assist in managing reservations and ensuring effective table turnover during peak hours
* Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally
* Contribute to sales growth through upselling and enhancing guest satisfaction
* Ensure timely setup of the dining room and effective communication with the F&B Department
* Manage inventory, control breakage/loss, and oversee cleanliness and maintenance of restaurant spaces
* Model the company's principles of People, Place, and Character, fostering collaboration and hospitality
* Maintain communication with Membership and F&B Management teams to align on priorities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
* Passion for community, restaurants, and guest service
* Minimum 5 years' restaurant experience, with at least 2 years in leadership
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and relevant systems
* Knowledge of reservation and POS systems, reporting, and inventory tools
* Understanding of service, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
* Ability to obtain certifications such as IPACT, Food Handlers, and ServSafe within specified timelines
* Comprehensive knowledge of food & beverage items, ingredients, and service standards
* Basic knowledge of wines and spirits
* Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal
* Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs; work in extreme temperatures
