This is a great opportunity to provide incredible support to our students. This role will be based at our Roundhouse campus.The OpportunityThis role presents a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of Care Experienced and Looked After young people by ensuring they feel supported, valued, and empowered throughout their educational journey.
It offers the chance to lead a coordinated and student-centred approach that promotes inclusion, removes barriers to learning, and enhances both personal wellbeing and academic achievement. Working collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies, the role plays a vital part in advocating for vulnerable learners, supporting successful transitions into and through education, and helping students develop the confidence, resilience, and skills needed to achieve their full potential and progress positively into their future aspirations.Please note this a fixed term contract for one year.About youWe are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and highly organised individual who is passionate about supporting Care Experienced and vulnerable young people to succeed. You will have proven experience working within a school, college, or community setting and be confident in building positive, professional relationships with students, colleagues, and external agencies.
With excellent communication and report-writing skills, you will be able to manage sensitive information with discretion while remaining calm and supportive in challenging situations. A strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislation relating to young people is essential, alongside experience supporting students who may display distressed behaviours.
