Optime Group, a leader in aviation recruitment, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Resourcing Consultant to spearhead our recruitment initiatives at Gatwick Airport.

While previous recruitment experience is beneficial, it’s not a requirement – with the right attitude, we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive!

Based at our head office in Crawley, we’re expanding our team and looking for a talented individual to handle recruitment across various airports in the UK. If you're driven, ambitious, and ready for an exciting new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!

What's on offer:

* Hours: 08:30am-17:00pm
* Days: Monday – Friday (Office based)
* Contract: Fixed Term (6 months)
* Start Date: February 2026

Key Responsibilities:

* Attract and recruit top-tier candidates, ensuring the highest standards are met.
* Promote a diverse range of job roles to candidates.
* Source candidates through a range of job boards and social media.
* Utilise and keep our in-house CRM system updated, in line with company procedures.
* Take full ownership of the candidate onboarding process, from CV screening to interviews (both phone and face-to-face), ensuring a smooth transition to start dates and beyond.
* Provide ongoing remote support and guidance to your placed workers, assisting with pay, holiday, and roster inquiries within the airport operations.
* Collaborate with your management team to drive continuous innovation, helping to meet business objectives.
* Consistently meet your targets and KPI's via your recruitment dashboard
* Bring your unique personality and ideas to work, delivering a first-class service every day.

The ideal candidate:

Location: West Sussex
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

* Manage technical assistance and consultation services, ensuring seamless customer support.
* Liaise with customers post-sale to refine project details and ensure clarity.

* Investigate quality and installation issues, providing timely resolutions.
* Deliver product training to clients and internal staff, both on-site and in-house.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

* Strong understanding of construction practices / joinery or similar is highly desirable.
* Strong Project Management skills, who is Technically minded.
* Experience with AutoCAD LT or similar software, and an ability to create precise 2D technical drawings is desirable.

People Group currently representing a fast-growing Tier 2 Electrical Contractor that is expanding rapidly and positioning itself to break into Tier 1 delivery. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead a major electrical package on a high-profile commercial/infrastructure project.

This organisation has grown from a small start-up in 2008 to a 0m+ turnover business today, with projections to exceed 0m in the coming financial year. They operate exclusively as an electrical contractor, supported by an in-house mechanical division. All operational staff are London-based, and the business does not require travel outside the London region for this role.

They are looking for driven, hungry, delivery-focused project managers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a company continuing to scale.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of a complex electrical package. This includes overseeing teams on-site, driving programme, managing commercial elements, ensuring compliance, and acting as a key interface between stakeholders.

Work Package Owner / Engineering Delivery Manager – Permanent Roles – Crawley West Sussex

We seek a highly skilled Work Package Owners (WPO) / Engineering Delivery Managers (EDM) to lead multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of innovative products and services for state-of-the-art flight simulators. You will be responsible for between 15 and 20 individuals, and you will oversee complex work packages, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in compliance with industry standards. Your leadership, technical governance and programme management will be pivotal in shaping our flight simulation solutions.

Our organisation operates in a unique marketplace where we deliver products and services to almost every continent, providing the underlying capability to many pilot training operations globally. The marketplace is competitive and requires individuals who are fast moving, customer orientated, and results driven.

AT THE COAL FACE TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including software, hardware and systems engineers to deliver high-quality products and services.
* Act as the primary owner of work packages ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are aligned with project goals.
* Implement technical governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure alignment on project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
* Drive risk management processes, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure the delivery of products and services meets the regulatory and quality standards critical to the aerospace industry
* Provide leadership in engineering project management, maintaining project oversight and ensuring technical integrity.
* Report regularly to senior leadership and customers, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and key decisions.
* Support the continuous improvement of delivery processes, enhancing efficiency and ensuring successful outcomes for future projects.
\>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
* Proven experience as a Work Package Owner/ Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or Technical Lead in the aerospace or simulation industries.
* Strong track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams up to 20 heads to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent engineering project management and technical governance skills, with the ability to manage risks and drive teams to achieve challenging goals.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to senior leadership and engaging with customers.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for delivering excellence in the aerospace sector.
