Responsible Individual / Service Manager – Children's Residential Services Location: Blackpool FY4 Salary: Up to £69,000 per year Job Type: Full-time | Monday to Friday Are you a passionate and experienced leader ready to make a meaningful impact in children’s residential care? We’re looking for a dynamic Responsible Individual / Service Manager to oversee a cluster of children’s homes supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading operational delivery across multiple children’s homes. Supporting and mentoring Registered Managers to ensure homes provide safe, nurturing environments that meet OFSTED standards. Driving quality assurance, governance, and safeguarding practices. Overseeing new home setups and registrations, including recruitment and culture embedding. Representing the service at board level, reporting on performance and growth. What We’re Looking For: Proven leadership across multiple children’s residential settings. Experience with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities is highly desirable. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Eligibility to be registered as Responsible Individual with OFSTED. Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and regulation. Excellent people management and communication skills. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across services.
