Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced OT to deliver impactful, person-centred therapy to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will work hours per week as part of a residential therapy team committed to helping every young person achieve a brighter, more independent future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students
2. Design and deliver individual and group therapy sessions that are evidence-based and needs-led
3. Collaborate with teaching, residential, and clinical teams to develop holistic care and support plans
4. Build strong therapeutic relationships with pupils to help identify their needs and monitor progress
5. Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and personal growth
Requirements:
6. HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist (essential)
7. Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or within an educational or clinical setting
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
9. A proactive, flexible, and compassionate approach to therapy and intervention
