About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead? As a Depot Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our depot's success. Your mission will be to lead and inspire your team while ensuring the highest standards of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and operational excellence. You’ll be the heartbeat of the depot, optimizing asset availability and fostering a vibrant, high-performing team culture.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the depot office and administration teams, including hire desk, contracts administration, and logistics.
* Engage with the workshop and manage engineering teams effectively.
* Maintain accurate systems and records with a focus on data entry precision.
* Support and mentor your office and administration teams through regular sessions.
* Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures, especially regarding EHS.
* Conduct regular team meetings and participate in weekly depot discussions.
* Champion exceptional customer service and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate closely with the wider depot network, service department, and sales teams.
* Address issues promptly and maintain open communication for consistent problem resolution.
* Manage invoice dispute logs and ensure timely query resolution.
* Adhere to all Quality and EHS directives, including PPE, Accident Reporting, and Safety Commitments.
