Job Title: Business Development Manager – Windows, Doors and Facades
Industry Sector: Fenestration, Window, Door, facades, Fabricators, Aluminium System Houses, Aluminium Systems, Aluminium Fabricators and Component Suppliers
Area to be covered: UK (Ireland & Scandinavia possibly in the future)
Remuneration: Up to £60,000
Benefits: Car Allowance and full benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager – Windows, Doors and Facades will involve:
* Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of plastic insulating strips, a vital component of metal windows, doors and façade systems (separate the inner and outer aluminium or steel frame with a thermal separation)
* Selling into fabricators and aluminium system houses
* Inheriting approx. 20 existing accounts with a view to on boarding new fabricators and aluminium system houses
* 60% account management, 40% new business development
* Responsible for circa £3m revenue
* Targeted to increase sales by 14% in first year
* No specific customer visit KPI’s you will be expected to grow the sales in line with our clients’ strategic plan, how this is achieved is down to you!
* Regular travel across the UK
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Windows, Doors and Facades with:
* A proven field sales track record within the fenestration market
* In depth knowledge of windows, doors and façade systems
* Must have prior experience selling into either fabricators or aluminium system houses
* Specific knowledge of thermal break technology and aluminium profile systems would be advantageous
* Comfortable with travel throughout the UK
* Proven track record in new business development, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities within both existing and new customers
* Technical aptitude although full training will be provided
* IT literate, CRM proficient
