Location: Randox Site 4, 44 Largy Road, Antrim, BT29 4RN.
Contract Offered: Full-time, fixed-term with a chance of being made permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: Day and Night shifts (4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off), 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.
Pay rate: £12.50 per hour. Hours worked between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am are paid at £15.62 per hour.
What does the Manufacturing Operative role involve?
The successful candidate’s main responsibility will be operating automated liquid dispensing and labelling lines. The role involves cross-training across auto dispense, manual dispense, and labelling teams, with full training provided. The role will require developing a varied skillset, including:
* Following company procedures for the setup and operation of dispense/labelling lines.
* Dispensing and labelling a range of diagnostic products.
* Maintaining relevant documentation.
* Routine maintenance of automated dispense/labelling lines.
* Troubleshooting basic issues related to the equipment.
* Maintaining and upkeeping equipment and instruments associated with the lines.
Full on-the-job training will be provided on our processes.
Who can apply?
This role suits individuals with strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills, and relevant manufacturing experience.
Essential Criteria
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Language.
* Valid right-to-work in the UK.
Desirable:
* Experience in manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of automated dispense/labelling equipment operation.
* Good numerical skills.
* Basic computer skills.
* Experience with Quality Systems.
* Driving license.
