Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Christchurch school setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management Help develop and implement tailored learning strategies and support plans Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all pupils Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language needs) is desirable A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils Strong communication and interpersonal skills A willingness to learn and a genuine interest in working in education Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, psychology degree) are beneficial but not essential Why work with Teaching Personnel?
