We are recruiting for our client, a leading and innovative social media marketing agency based in London. They are looking for a Business Development Director for the UK agency focusing on new client opportunities that fit their proposition and service offering. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING • The main focus of the role will be Identifying (and closing) opportunities to work with new clients • Working with the Senior Account Leads to grow opportunities in ‘Group’ Accounts (in the consumer and lifestyle sectors) • Building a pipeline of new client opportunities – (project based, and always on clients) • Developing and executing contact strategies for potential clients – expected to be with client direct and through third parties (intermediaries, group referral). • Oversee the Marketing function (1 x Marketing Manager) to ensure the marketing plan supports their growth ambitions (Marketing drives qualified leads) • Lead and win new business pitches (supported by the agency team) YOU’LL KNOW YOU’VE DONE A GOOD JOB WHEN • We have a clear reputation in market - measured by increase in fame and client and industry perception. • We are exceeding new business targets - You will ultimately be measured by the uplift in new business wins on an annual basis. • Your outreach is being matched by incoming opportunities. • The team are begging to work with the client opportunities you have opened. Salary up to 90K plus uncapped bonus/commission
