Up to £55,000 Basic Bonus opportunities 28 days annual leave Pension scheme 1:1 leadership coaching with external experts Bi-monthly management training & CPD Wellbeing programme & access to Health Assured Casual dress policy, discounted or free meals, and team referral schemes Supportive Deputy Manager already in place Hands-on, approachable Directors who are actively involved and appreciative of their staff About the Home & Organisation Independent provider with steady growth plans Operates 1 children's home currently, with another due to open soon in the local area Small, family-feel organisation where staff are recognised and supported Warm, welcoming home environment designed for stability and nurturing care Consistent staff team, many have been with the home since its opening Focused on therapeutic, trauma-informed practice and positive outcomes About the Role Lead and manage a 3-bed EBD children's home Take responsibility for registration, compliance, referrals, and matching Inspire and develop a dedicated team alongside a supportive Deputy Manager Embed a positive, therapeutic, and trauma-informed culture Maintain compliance and uphold the highest standards of care Build strong partnerships with families, local authorities, and external professionals Ensure individual care plans reflect each child's needs and aspirations Promote a culture of praise, growth, and consistency Share on-call responsibilities with the Deputy Manager Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete) At least 2 years' experience under Ofsted regulations Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in children's residential care (Team Leader/Deputy upwards) Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted inspections, and safeguarding procedures Strong leadership skills with a nurturing, motivational approach Resilient, flexible, and committed to child-centred practice Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential Interested?
