Salary: £12.80 to £12.80 per hour
The role consists of shift work and weekends on a rota basis. We offer a number of flexible positions to suit personal commitments, with a range of working patterns available.
Overview of the role
The Team Leader provides support and guidance to a team of social care workers, ensuring the highest level of care and leading by example. The role includes liaising with senior staff, reporting matters of concern, and assisting with overall management of the home. Experience in the care sector and a willingness to learn are required.
Key duties
* Take the lead in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential care environment.
* Supervise the team and assist with overall home management.
* Liaise with managers and other shift leaders.
* Execute tasks allocated in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
* Supervise and share mealtimes with residents to encourage a positive attitude towards food and dining.
* Assist residents in their daily activities, whether this be in or away from the home.
* Use initiative when supporting residents during activities and day-to-day tasks.

Location
Stokewood – a detached suburban home providing residential support for nine female residents with mental health conditions such as schizophrenia and personality disorder, and associated complex needs. The home is approximately two miles from Fareham town centre and offers seven en‑suite bedrooms, two self‑contained annexe rooms, educational and vocational training courses, community connection with a local charity, and transport for leisure, recreational and educational trips.
