Job description
The Production Co-Ordinator will support our clients growing manufacturing and assembly team in Scarva. The Production Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring materials are available for any works taking place in the yard and that any pipework/frames are inspected when returned from a subcontractor and updated as received on Fieldview (training provided).
Hours | Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 3pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Generate picking lists & co-ordinate with stores for timely delivery.
2. Ensure fabrication & assembly drawings are issued to Sub-Contractors.
3. Ensure drawings are approved by Contracts in a timely manner and advise Document Control when ready for issue to subcontractor.
4. Provide Daily & Weekly KPI information.
5. Update Process progress on Field View on a daily basis as back up to site supervisor.
6. Provide information to enable the development & maintenance of production plans by Planner
7. Chase shortages from CMRs.
8. Organising transport to & from galvanising sub-contractors.
9. Resolve technical escalations on shopfloor from Site Supervisor.
10. Co-ordinate transfer of painted pipe to assembly area.
Essential Criteria
11. 3 years' experience within a role completing similar duties.
12. Being able to read and understand assembly and schematic drawings.
13. Proficient with the use of IT equipment & systems.
14. Full UK Driving licence
Desirable Criteria
15. Relevant certifications (, NVQ in construction, CSR) are advantageous.
