About The Role
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Reception Supervisor to oversee the reception and post room teams. You will ensure the teams provide a warm and professional welcome for all staff, students, visitors, and contractors to campus, providing the correct support and signposting all enquiries. This is a varied and dynamic role covering multiple reception areas across the Penryn and Falmouth campuses. Working across different locations requires a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to fast-paced and sometimes challenging environments. The successful person should have a passion in customer service with the ability to supervise multiple teams and the car parking software. This is a close-knit team that works closely with other campus departments, and we are looking for someone as passionate as us about delivering our goals.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in supervising a team of reception/administrative staff and providing excellent customer service. Alongside these key skills you will have strong organisational skills, with the ability to follow existing systems of work and to challenge and improve those systems. We would like to hear from candidates who can also offer the following:
1. Effective communicator who has the confidence and demeanour to make positive first impressions.
2. Excellent IT skills including MS Office based applications.
3. Able to prioritise their own workload and direct the work of others.
4. Ability to work professionally under pressure and still maintain a customer focus throughout.
