About the division
The Water Consultancy Division is Mott MacDonald’s centre of excellence for responding to water and wastewater challenges, offering opportunities to engage in diverse and technically challenging work. We focus on ensuring safe water supplies for the future and protecting our environment. Our multidisciplinary teams provide services throughout the project lifecycle, from advisory and feasibility studies to detailed design, construction support, and site supervision.

We are seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team of mechanical, electrical, and ICA engineers. Responsibilities include:
1. Managing MEICA design and integration with other disciplines;
2. Preparing design deliverables balancing time, cost, and quality;
3. Managing project resources and developing capability through recruitment and training;
4. Supporting business development, proposals, and tenders in water and wastewater fields;
5. Managing small to medium-sized projects with a MEICA focus.
Candidate specification
We seek a Chartered Mechanical Engineer eager to make a difference, with responsibilities and professional growth ambitions. You should have:
* In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment equipment, including pumping systems;
* Strong communication skills for interacting with disciplines and clients;
* Project management and design delivery capabilities;
* Leadership skills to motivate and manage teams;
* Willingness to contribute to technical networks and ongoing professional development.
