Overview

We are looking for an experienced Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 27.5 hours per week. The purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support.

St Christopher's Cevcp School has an exciting opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals.


Responsibilities

* Provide pupils with classroom support in line with the needs of the teaching staff.
* Support the delivery of a high standard of teaching and learning within the classroom.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.


Qualifications and attributes

* Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children's life chances through education.
* Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload.
* Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils.
* Have a can-do attitude and the ability to use initiative.
* Be able to work flexibly and professionally.
