Our ideal Social Media Exec has creative flair, exceptional writing skills and stays ahead of trends across social media platforms. We want to meet a creative and vibrant content curator who can hit the ground running, enjoys a challenge and loves the fast pace of a dynamic marketing team. THE PERSON You’ll have a natural way with words, an eye for a great Insta shot and the ability to create compelling online content with top notch attention to detail. Whether you’re writing copy to excite our members, or posting daily videos for our Insta Reels and Tik Tok channels, you’ll take our brand style and make it pop. THE ROLE Socially savvy, you’ll regularly spend time in clubs to create content that keeps our channels fresh. Typical content will include: Tours of our clubs Fitness tips and tutorials Showcasing our latest and greatest classes in action Showing off our brand new bits of kit Live action from brand events and product launches Motivational content to keep our members moving! Regular club-specific content on our local social pages … your content will be channel-specific and tailored for the relevant audience. You’ll respond to fan comments and DMs to ensure all burning questions are answered and that we’re interacting with our fitness community You’ll run regular competitions to drive engagement, plus manage a budget for sponsored posts to give your awesome content extra reach. Using your natural charm and communication skills, you’ll liaise with our fitness teams to generate brand-level photographic and video content for use across our social channels, including Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIN and Instagram. So being personable and confident when meeting new people throughout our 33 Village clubs is crucial. You’ll follow trending topics on social to ensure that we’re part of the conversation and create reactive content in line with what’s hot on the fitness scene. You’ll also manage our growing network of brand ambassadors, including reality TV stars, sports personalities and fitness influencers to co-ordinate regular activity and drive leads/sales. THE SKILLS This is a key role within a fast paced marketing team, so the following skills are essential. At least 3 years experience within a content creation or social media marketing role Proven experience in using social media platforms to represent a business Confident, creative writing skills. Exceptional grammar is essential. Basic graphic design skills for social media use. The ability to organise and manage your own workload. Basic photography and video skills. First class attention to detail. On-screen presentation skills. A keen interest in and knowledge of health & fitness.
