Position
An experienced Medical Secretary Supervisor is required to provide an efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the CAMHS Consultants and their clinical team.
Responsibilities
 * Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support for a range of clinicians within CAMHS.
 * Use TrakCare and other NHS Tayside administration systems; accurate keyboard and excellent audio‑typing skills required.
 * Apply knowledge of medical terminology and maintain high levels of concentration in a challenging and rewarding environment.
 * Manage own workload with autonomy, forward planning and problem‑solving when required.
 * Maintain excellent organisational and communication skills as a key member of the clinical team.
Qualifications
 * Previous secretarial/administrative experience.
 * Experience of TrakCare and NHS Tayside administration systems is desirable.
 * Excellent organisational, communication and audio‑typing skills.
 * Strong ability to work as part of a team and manage communication with clinicians.
Hours of Work
37 hours per week
Induction and Standards
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
