Within the Global Client Group (GCG), the Director-Strategy & Analytics will serve as a strategic thought partner to GCG and firm leadership, synthesizing firmwide flow trends, product performance, market dynamics, and revenue implications into clear, executive-ready insights.
This role sits at the intersection of distribution, finance, and investor communications—translating complex business drivers into cohesive narratives that inform earnings messaging, strategic planning, and senior leadership decision-making.
The Director will lead a small team responsible for delivering forward-looking analysis and actionable insights that shape how the firm articulates business performance internally and externally.
Key Mandate
Translate global sales flows, AUM shifts, product mix trends, and market context into clear, data-driven insights and narratives that inform:
1. Quarterly earnings messaging
2. Strategic business decisions
3. Investor and analyst engagement
4. Senior management discussions
How you will add value
Strategic Analytics & Insights
5. Analyze gross and net flows across channels, regions, and asset classes to identify key performance drivers.
6. Evaluate AUM mix shifts and their implications for revenue, margin, and long-term growth.
7. Synthesize internal performance data with external market and competitive context.
8. Identify emerging trends and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
Revenue & Business Modeling
9. Model fee revenue impacts across distribution channels, vehicles, and product types.
10. Assess pricing, mix, and market-driven revenue sensitivities.
11. Partner with Finance to align revenue forecasting assumptions with distribution trends.
12. Support scenario modeling tied to strategic initiatives and market volatility.
Earnings & Investor Messaging
13. Partner closely with Investor Relations to develop earnings materials and supporting analytics.
14. Build narrative frameworks explaining quarterly performance drivers.
15. Anticipate investor and analyst questions and prepare supporting materials.
16. Ensure consistency between underlying business performance and external messaging.
Executive Communication
17. Develop clear, concise presentations for senior management and executive committees.
18. Translate complex analytics into digestible, decision-oriented insights.
19. Serve as a strategic advisor to GCG leadership on performance positioning.
Team Leadership
20. Lead and develop a small team
21. Establish analytical standards, governance, and best practices.

23. Wealth of experience in asset management, management consulting with exposure to asset management, strategic finance, or related roles.
24. Strong understanding of public-company reporting cadence and earnings processes.
25. Deep familiarity with asset management fee structures across vehicles and channels.
26. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial and operating data into executive-level narratives.
27. Experience presenting to senior leadership or supporting C-suite decision-making.
