PER are working with an asset manager that has launched an ambitious venture growth strategy, backed by significant capital. They're actively investing in the most promising science & technology companies and funds across the UK and Europe-backing bold ideas, visionary leadership, and high-growth, scalable models. What the job involves
* Take a leading role in the strategic development of venture capital as an asset class
* Bring sector expertise and insights
* Collaborate with the broader team to embed these into the venture growth capital investment strategy
* Deal sourcing, diligence and execution. Provide commercial review and decision making on potential new investments
* Term sheet preparation and negotiations
* Create and present decision papers for the Investment Committee
Who we are looking for
* Deep understanding of either the science & technology sector- ideally Healthtech, Deeptech, Climate and Sustainability
* Extensive VC experience at Series A stage and beyond. Seed stage investors will not be considered
* Exit experience is highly preferred
* 'Hands on' versatile self-starter, able to work independently and effectively in virtual multi-disciplinary teams
* Goal orientated, getting things done in a low hierarchy organisational structure
