Responsibilities and Duties
As an engineer, this role is responsible for the reactive, preventative, and planned repair and maintenance to all onsite plant. All these works must be conducted in a safe manner. This includes areas such as packing hall production lines, dry & cold stores, site facilities including the cooling tower & production wastewater plant, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring safe efficient operation. Potentially working as the only engineer on a shift with full responsibility for the engineering elements onsite, working along the Production Shift Supervisor.
Working Hours
* Night Shift – £56,708.52, 40 hours per week – Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 to 06:00
* Double Days – £42,972.80, 40 hours per week – Week 1: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00; Week 2: Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00
Requirements
* Approved UK engineering apprenticeship scheme
* 17 / 18th BS 7671 Electrical wiring regulations compliance
* Fault finding experience on PLCs / SCADA / Power & Control circuits / Pneumatics / Mechanical drive conveyor systems.
* Computer literate (Word / Excel etc.)
* MEWP/IPAF licences (current)
* Experience in food manufacturing packing / weighing and vertical sealers – highly desirable
