Position: Residential Support Worker (Casual)
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
Contract/Hours: Casual hours, primarily during weekends and school holidays. Hours may vary weekly due to shift patterns.

About the service
Chestnut Lodge is a 5-bed short breaks children's home for children aged 8-18 with disabilities, providing a safe environment for fun, relaxation, and skill development during weekends and school holidays.
Role overview
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll create a safe, supportive environment, prioritizing wellbeing, personalized care, and advocacy to help children reach their full potential. We offer comprehensive induction, training, and support for career progression.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading care planning and risk management
* Coordinating within the service and with external agencies, including report writing
* Participating in professional meetings such as reviews and court hearings

About you
