What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative practitioner to provide one-to-one support for students in the secondary phase of the school. Candidates should ideally have a grade C GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, and a good level of spoken English. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player and capable of developing positive behaviour strategies with children.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide in-class support to students aged 11–16, including those with additional learning needs.
2. Work closely with teaching staff to assist with lesson preparation and classroom management.
3. Support students in small groups or one-to-one, both academically and socially.
4. Promote positive behaviour and a safe, respectful learning environment.
5. Assist in the delivery of intervention programmes and support strategies.
6. Help track student progress and maintain accurate records.
