Role – We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of releases across a multi‑brand Salesforce platform. This role is critical in ensuring predictable, high‑quality deployments while maintaining platform stability, governance, and alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and manage Salesforce release strategy (pilot, phased, wave‑based, or big‑bang)
* Own and maintain the enterprise release calendar, aligned with business milestones and Salesforce release cycles
* Establish and enforce release governance, standards, and approval processes
* Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans across releases
* Oversee Salesforce environments:
o Development
o QA / SIT
o UAT
o Pre‑Production
o Production
* Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
o Copado
o Gearset
o Salesforce DevOps Center
o Flosum
* Coordinate deployments, hotfixes, and rollbacks across multiple workstreams
* Maintain deployment runbooks and release documentation
* Lead release readiness reviews and go‑live activities
* Communicate release status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders and leadership
Key Skills
* 6+ years’ experience in Salesforce delivery, release management, or platform operations
* Proven experience managing multi‑brand or multi‑org Salesforce releases
* Strong understanding of:
o Salesforce environments and metadata
o Deployment and release processes
* Experience with Agile / SAFe / enterprise delivery models
* Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CI/CD and DevOps tools
* Strong experience in:
o Release and change management
o Risk and dependency management
* Familiarity with tools such as:
o Jira
o Azure DevOps
o Confluence
o ServiceNow
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage complex, parallel release cycles
